Participants must be 16 years to 18 years and 1 month old when the program starts.
CBIO eCLOSE Institute HS Summer Camp summer student scientists will learn techniques and protocols to examine how nutrients can affect the development of The Fruit Fly.
They will complete more advanced techniques like solution-making and micropipetting! Participants will work with USB-C camera scopes to capture their data and present posters on Friday!
Participants will put hand-eye skills to the test as they move fruit flies to nap vials and learn how to put them to sleep for sorting.
This program take place in a LIVE LAB on University of Pennsylvania's Medical School Campus. ALL sessions are required and seats are extremely limited.
The Cancer Biology Summer Camp will take place July 29-August 2, 2024, 10am-3pm (allowing the additional hour as a buffer for students to wrap up or ask questions).
